Miss Universe 2026 is the 75th edition of the pageant. It takes place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with the final on Tuesday, November 24, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. Here's everything fans need in one place.

How to watch
Telemundo airs the final live across the United States at 7pm ET, 6pm CT and 4pm PT, with a simultaneous stream on Peacock. In Latin America it's announced for Telemundo Internacional and Universal+. Where it's happening
The Coliseo, often called El Choliseo, is in the Hato Rey area of San Juan. It's Puerto Rico's fourth time as host, after 1972, 2001 and 2002. Puerto Rico's governor has said $9 million in public funds will help finance the event. Before the stage shows, delegates visit Aguadilla, Ponce, Guaynabo and San Juan, as our full schedule sets out.
The format
The competition runs across three stage nights. The National Costume Show is a staged presentation rather than a street parade. The Preliminary Competition has swimsuit and evening gown segments, which help decide who advances. At the Grand Final, the field is first cut to a Top 30 semifinalists.
The fan vote
The public vote opened on October 16, 2026, and the delegate with the most votes takes an automatic place in the Top 30. Read our voting guide for the details.
The contestants
Sources put the field at between 120 and 130 delegates, and 119 were listed on Wikipedia when we last checked. See every name on our contestants page. The Republic of the Congo, Saint Martin, South Sudan and Uganda are reported as debuts, while Germany, Jamaica, Kenya and Iceland are among those returning.
What's in dispute
Rival groups within the organization are in a public dispute over who holds authority, and the place of delegates from Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam is in question as a result. Both sides say the Puerto Rico event is going ahead. We cover this in our news report.
